Experiencing Problems?

Edge Impact provide quality business, hosting services for websites, and email facilities for email sent to a domain address.

Edge Impact do not provide:

  • Internet access facilities. Internet access is provided by Internet Service Providers (ISPs) of which there are many in the UK market who offer relatively cheap and reliable service. Edge Impact use Wanadoo on www.wanadoo.co.uk.
  • Email send facilities. Almost every ISP provides an SMTP connection for sending email using an email program such as Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express. It is more efficient to send email out from your ISP. At the time of writing AOL do not provide an SMTP service. To see most ISPs SMTP addresses please click here.
  • Computer, hardware, network, email and PC application (unless it is one of Edge Impact's applications) support. Please contact your computer support person for this service. Edge Impact may be able to provide some suggestions on who to contact in your area - please call our office for information here. If you or your PC support person is unsure as to the set-up required for receiving email, please see our support page here.
  • If you are having problems with:

  • Receiving email: check 1) that you can access the internet by opening your Internet Browser, such as Internet Explorer, and go to a popular website, such as www.edgeimpact.co.uk. If you cannot access this website then contact your PC support person 2) that you have your email account settings correctly configured and refer to our documentation regarding configuration here 3) that you can access your email via our webmail facility at http://webmail.xxx.co.uk where xxx.co.uk is your domain name. You will need your password to logon. 4) Refer the problem to your PC support person in the first instance and secondly call Edge Impact support, the contact details can be found on our contact page here.
  • Finding your email address or password: contact your PC support person who will have access to your companies Personal Control Panel (PCP) and will be able to provide you with these details. You access your PCP by going to http://cp.xxx.co.uk where xxx.co.uk is your domain name.
  • Your website or application (unless it is one of Edge Impact's applications): Refer your problem in the first instance to the first contact support person in your company, or failing which contact Edge Impact here.
